The UAE’s first carrier- and vendor-neutral data centre facility, Gulf Data Hub has said it will open a new datacentre in January 2014. The purpose-built facility currently consists of two buildings, each of which will have with 3,000 sq m of data space when construction work is completed.

UAE operators Etisalat and Du both have points of presence at the facility.
The founder and CEO of Gulf Data Hub, Tarek Al-Ashram has said that the company will have 1000 sq m of data space ready to host customers from January. GDH currently has 5 MW of electricity confirmed from DEWA to power the first of the development’s 1000 sq m halls.
