Web-hosting business UKFast, which is based at Manchester Technology Park, has reported turnover of £23 million for the year to 31 December 2013. This is up from £19.9 million in 2012. EBITDA grew from £7.9 million to £8.2 million.

During the period it made its first acquisition and has increased its team to 250 staff.
Chief executive Lawrence Jones said: “I am very pleased with our 2013 results. The last couple of years we’ve built three datacentres and acquired a new HQ, which is setting new standards in office design. ”Such a sizeable relocation to contend with could be a huge distraction so I am very glad to have crossed the finish line and be in the situation where we have some incredible property additions and a fantastic platform for the future. We’re really looking forward to concentrating on developing our service and product range even more.
