Facility Team
The Facility Team possess the relevant level of training coupled with experience in a Data Center environment in order to fully control all aspects of daily activity in the customer Data Center.
The Facility Team develops, manages and continuously reviews operational procedure for the facility. They are required to maintain a “finger on the pulse” attitude, and be available to deal with issues at any time.
They ensure that at all times; activity, movement and projects in the Data Center are assessed and controlled to best minimise impact.
They ensure that all awarded contracts and further costs are negotiated and subject to tender, while constantly maintaining the highest standards of service. They report directly to the customer and present status reports as required.
Data Centre Technicians
In order to provide effective support, all operatives will be fully familiar with all aspects of the customers Data Centre environment. This familiarity will ensure a continuity of technical knowledge vital to the daily operations of the customers Data Center.
This team possesses the following skills:

– Regulatory certification and training.
– Ability to understand and follow instructions with little supervision.
– Attention to detail.
– Ability to interact with people.
– Full understanding of the customers Data Center environment.
– Excellent reporting skills.
– Goal oriented and highly ethical
– Fully aware of Health and Safety regulations.
The specific purpose of the position is to carry out and or supervise the maintenance of the key plant units and systems.
Operatives will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all essential M&E systems in the customers Data Center.
They will react to any emergency and implement corrective action to ensure the safety of personnel, the availability of power, cooling and all essential services.
They will manage 3rd party contractors and ensure that facility standard operating procedures are maintained at all times.
Data Center Security Team
CITADEL will provide a professional and experienced team of hand-picked personnel to provide the backbone of the customer’s Data Center security team.
Data Centre 3rd Party Contractors
Handling and Management of 3rd party contractors will be strictly controlled by CITADEL100.
All 3rd party contactors will receive facility safety induction training prior to commencement of projects.
A facility code of conduct will be presented to each contract manager.
The management and control of 3rd party contractors will be the direct responsibility of the Facility Manager through the on-site technical team.
Strict policies will be in place governing the work carried out within the Data Center.
Work method statements will be required 48 hrs in advance of all work.
Work permits or S.P.A.’s (Safe Plan of Action) will be in place and posted.
Hot work permits will be in place and posted.
