Sberbank to open new Skolkovo datacentre

Russian media reports are suggesting that the largest bank in Russia and Eastern Europe, Sberbank will start the deployment of its new datacentre in Skolkovo technology park in Moscow in 2014

No details on the amount of the investment were disclosed

In 2011, Sberbank launched its 16,500-sq m datacentre Yuzhny Port a facility which cost about US$1.2 billion. At the same time Sberbank outlined its plans to develop a second datacentre in Skolkovo, spanning 7,000 sq m with rentable storage space.
